This Guide will walk through how to set up Rentals for your clients to book on Self-Service.

*Screens and layouts may vary depending on the user settings and device compatibility.

Rental Types

Go to Administration

Click Rentals
Click Rental Types

*** Before editing the settings for your Rentals on Self Service make sure you have already created your Rental type and Rate.

 

EZ Facility - Google Chrome

Click on the pencil icon to open a rental type.

Self-Booking Access: Did you want clients to be able to book the rental type through Self-Service if there is space?

Venues: Which resources can be booked using this Rental Type?

Rental Rate: What is the Rental Rate attached to this type?

Client Eligibility: Determines if the client must have a membership to book this rental

Click Save when you have made the necessary changes.

Rental Rates

Click Administration

Click Rentals
Click Rental Rates

Click the pencil icon for the rate you want to put on self service

Click Billing

Registration ends before event: How close to the rental start time can the client rent?

Minimum and maximum rental duration: What is the least and most time the client can rent this resource at one time?

Billing: Does the client need to pay for the rental in full, make a deposit or not required to make a payment at the time of booking?

Click Save & Next to save your changes.

Self Service Settings

This section will show you how to set up self service specific settings.

Click Administration

Click Self Service
Click Preferences

Check the box to enable your self-service site. To learn more about self service settings go to Self-Service in the New EZFacility Experience

Check the box next to Allow users to book rentals online
Click on Configure default rental settings

Visible Range: This determines how far into the future a client can see to book a rental
Default Cutoff Times: This setting determines how long a rental is in the shopping cart while a client checks out. Once they reach this limit their rental will expire.
Click Save.

You can now go to your self service link to see your rentals.
