Account administrators can change the default self-service settings for a specific package. A package plan can also be attached to a reservation type so that only that package plan can be used to book into a reservation on the calendar. This guide will show you how to change these settings.

Administration

Click Administration.

Click Packages

Click on Reservation Types.

Package Settings

Click the cog for the reservation type you need to edit.

***For any of the following settings you can change the defaults that are originally set up in Self-Service Preferences. Click the check box next to Use location default to change these settings.

1. This setting is referring to whether a reservation type should show up on the self-service calendar.

  1. Do not list: this reservation type will not show on the self-service calendar.
  2. List only, do not book: the clients can see this reservation type on the self-service calendar but cannot book themselves into the session.
  3. Allow booking: this reservation type will show on the self-service calendar and the client can book themselves into the session.

2. Default Cutoff Times:

  1. The amount of time before a session starts that a client can reserve a spot.
  2. To allow clients to cancel on their own on self-service, a time needs to be entered here.

3. Requirements

  1. If this is a member only package plan, you will need to add a check to the box next to "Client must have an active, paid-to-date membership"
  2. If this reservation type requires the package to be paid in full before they can book into this session, you will need to add a check to the box next to "The package used to book must be paid-to-date".

Allowed Package Types: To connect a package plan to a reservation type click the drop down under "all package types are allowed". Choose the package plan you would like to allow a client to use to book into this class. Once added, only those package plans can be used to book into the class on the schedule.

1. Instant Email Alerts: This setting controls if an email will be sent to notify you of a client booking into this reservation type or a client canceling.

2. Autobook Waitlist: If you would like to disable the waitlist for this specific reservation type, remove the check box next to "use location default". Click the radio button next to "disabled".

3. Online Description: The box here can be used to add a description to a reservation type on both self-service and the mobile application. Ex: what the class is going to go over? Is there a specific age group this class is for?

4. Click Save once you have made the necessary changes.
