This lesson will show you how to set up a relationship between clients. This function is used when sharing packages or sharing membership as well as for the basic information purposes.
Choose Client

1. Search for your client or create a New Client
2. Click on client's First or Last name
Relationships

The relationship section is on the middle of the left hand column of client detail information
Choose Relationship Type

Click on the drop-down to choose a relationship type. These types relate to the client whom you are currently on as having the specified type with the client you are going to search for after.
Ex. Client A (the current client) is the "Child of" Client B (the client you search for)
Search for Client

1. Type in the first or last name of the client you wish to relate and choose their name from the menu that appears
2. Click Add to create the relationship
Relationship Added

Added relationships will appear on the right with a link to access the related client's detail page, their relationship type, and an option to remove the relationship
** Relationships will appear on both clients' details page, but other relationships the other client may have do not automatically transfer to the newly related client.
Update to Save

Click on the Update button to save the relationship
