How to Log Client Activity in EZFacility Classic

This lesson will show you how to log an activity for tracking client communications or interactions (See How to Create a New Client)

Clients

Click on the Clients link

Choose Client

Choose Client

1. Search for your client or create a New Client

2. Click on client's First or Last name

Log an Activity

Scroll to the bottom of the client detail page and click on the Log an Activity button

Activity Type

Activity Type

Choose the desired type of activity that you are logging:

   - Phone: Call you had with the customer

   - Email: Send the client an email or log one you received from the client

   - Task: Set a task to perform in regards to this client

   - Other: Any other option that you are logging

Activity Subject

Choose the desired subject from the Subject drop-down menu

** --Other-- will allow you to create new subjects for use in your activity or you can go to Admin -> Client Activity Subjects to create new options

1. Choose the User that you wish to assign the activity to (See How to Add a New User)

2. Attach a file if desired

Enter a message into the white space regarding the purpose of this activity and click on Save

Completed - Activity History

Completed - Activity History

The completed history will show all activities logged for this client. You can click on the Subject name to access the task information and make edits or changes
