This lesson will show you how to create a task for one of your users to perform regarding a specific client (See How to Create a New Client)
Choose Client
1. Search for your client or create a New Client
2. Click on clients First or Last name
Create New Task
Scroll to the bottom of the client detail page and click on the Create New Task button
Task Subject
Choose the desired subject from the Subject drop down menu
** --Other-- will allow you to create new subjects for use in your activity or you can go to Admin -> Client Activity Subjects to create new options
Task Details
1. Choose the User that you wish to assign the task too (See How to Add a New User)
2. Attach a file if desired
Task Status
Choose the current status of the task from the Status drop down menu
Task Dates
Set the due and completion dates for the task
Task Message
Enter a message into the white space regarding the purpose of this task and click on Save
Active - Activity Tasks
A list of active tasks for the client are listed, you can click on the Subject name to access the task information and make edits or changes
Task Icon
In the top right corner of your account the task icon will be active and have a numeral in the upper right corner denoting how many tasks are associated with the currently logged in user
Task/Activity Report
Use the filter to find specific tasks and click Generate
Utilizing Report
Clicking on the subject for any listed task will open the task details in a new window so that you can update or edit the information
