Account administrators can change the default self-service settings for a specific rental. You can restrict what venues are able to be rented with a specific rental type. This guide will show you how to access these settings.

Administration
Click Administration.
Click Location Settings.

Select Rental Types.

Click the Cog to open the settings on the rental type you wish to edit.
Settings

1. Available for self-booking: if you do not want to allow someone to book this rental you can choose "do not allow booking". If you want this rental to be able to be booked on self-service, choose "allow booking".
2. Allowed Venues: in this section you can choose what venues can be booked using this rental type. Click on you the venue you want to allow and choose "add venue".

Choose the drop down under "rental rate". Click on the correct rental rate for this type.

1. Rentals must be paid in full: this option requires the rental to be paid in full at the time of booking.
2. Allow partial payments/pay later: this option allows the client to pay for the rental at a future date.
1. This setting is asking how much notice you need for someone to book a rental. You can choose minutes, hours, or days notice by clicking the drop downs.
2. This setting is asking how long someone is able to rent a resource for. You can set a minimum and maximum amount of time.
3. Default Requirements: if you would like only members to be able to rent this venue you can choose the box to turn this setting on.
4. Click "Save" to save your settings for this rental type.
