How to Create a Recurring Session on the Calendar in Resource View 2026

This guide will show you how to create a recurring session on the calendar in resource view.

Creating the Session

Select Add Reservation or click on a time and resource where you would like your session to begin.

  1. Venue(s): select the venue(s) you want the session to be held on
    ***this is an optional field if you are selecting an instructor
  2. Instructor(s): select the instructor who is teaching this session
    ***this is an optional field if you are just scheduling a session on a venue line
  3. Reservation category: when using the mobile app you can determine if this session will show on the app by selecting the specific category
  4. Reservation type: choose your session type from the dropdown
  5. Title: you can customize the title of this specific session. It will be seen both by admins and clients.
  1. Class size: the max amount of people that can attend this session
  2. Start and End date: this is the day the first session is happening
  3. Start and End Time: this is the start and end time of the first session. The length will default to what was set when the reservation type was created.
  4. Pre-buffer and Post-buffer times: you can use the default buffer times set in the reservation type or customize the buffer times here.
    ***buffer times will block your schedule before and after a session. This will allow you to set up or clean up before and after a session.
  1. Recurring: set this to yes to open the recurring options
  2. Recurrence: in this drop down you can choose the pattern for your recurrence. If you want the option to choose multiple days of the week you will need to select Custom.
  3. Repeat every: If custom is selected you will have the option to choose how often the pattern is repeated
  4. On: you can choose the days of the week you need your session(s) scheduled
  5. Ending: choose an end date for your pattern or for it to end after a certain amount of occurrences
  1. Split sessions: you can choose to create back to back sessions by splitting the time by different increments
  2. Notes: add any internal notes for this session
  3. Click Save
