There may be a time where you decide to change the Merchant Processing company that is connected with your EZFacility account. This document should provide you with the information that you will need to be aware of before this change is made. Please keep in mind that EZFacility is very minimally involved with this process. The information will need to be provided from your current or new Merchant Processing company to EZFacility. Once we receive the data from the Merchant Processing company, we will be able to import the data into your account where you will be able to begin processing through EZFacility. This process usually takes 6-8 weeks to complete. Below we will describe the data that we will need to successfully import your data into your account.
If you are moving from EZPayments or Authorize.net to Global Payments:
- When you utilize EZPayments or Authorize.net, EZFacility encrypts your stored credit card details.
- When the credentials in your EZFacility account are changed from EZPayments or Authorize.net to Global Payments, the encrypted card details will be converted to a Global Payments Token the first time the card is used in EZFacility.
- If you need to access your account's full credit card details after this change, you will need to contact Global Payments directly.
If you are moving from Global Payments to EZPayments or Authorize.net:
- You will first need to request your card data from Global Payments, which should be sent to EZFacility Support. Please be aware that an additional fee is connected to retrieving this data from Global Payments.
- All card data that is entered into EZFacility when using Global Payments will be automatically tokenized. To begin using EZPayments or Authorize.net, EZFacility would need an Excel document sent to our Secure FTP with the unencrypted card details and the card’s corresponding Global Payments token.
- The Global Payments token is then used as an identifier, where our team can find the token and replace it with the card details provided on the secure Excel document.
- There is an additional $75/month fee to use Authorize.net with EZFacility.
If you are moving from Cayan to EZPayments or Authorize.net:
- You will first need to request your card data from Cayan, which should be sent to EZFacility Support. Please be aware that an additional fee is connected to retrieving this data from Cayan.
- All card data that is entered into EZFacility when using Cayan is tokenized. To begin using EZPayments or Authorize.net, EZFacility would need an Excel document sent to our Secure FTP with the unencrypted card details and the card’s corresponding Cayan Volt token.
- This token is then used as an identifier, where our team can find the token and replace it with the card details provided on the secure Excel document.
- There is an additional $75/month fee to use Authorize.net with EZFacility.
If you are moving from Cayan to EZPayments or Global Payments:
- All data would be communicated and exchanged by Cayan and Global Payments directly.
- Cayan or Global Payments would need to send us an updated file with the original token and the new corresponding token. EZFacility will then be able to upload and replace those tokens in your EZFacility account.
Please note: If your account has multiple locations, be sure to include the tokens or card data for all locations when making a processor change.
