This guide will show how Account administrators can create Salespeople, to track which employees may earn a commission for a membership or package sale.  Because a Salesperson does not get a schedule on the calendar, you are able to create as many as needed.

Remember that Trainers are automatically considered salespeople, and don't need a second record to track their commissions.

Administration

Click on Administration.

Location & Trainer Setup

Click on Location & Trainer Setup.

Add or Edit a Salesperson

1. Click on the Salespeople tab along the top of this section

2. Enter the Full Name of the salesperson that will appear in the Sold By field of the Membership or Package Sales pages (See How to Sell a Membership Contract & How to Sell an Individual Package)

3. Fill in their commission rates as desired and click Add Salesperson to save their record

- Pkg Comm Rate issues a commission based on a percentage of the value of the package sold. Pkg Flat Comm issues a flat rate commission per package

- Session Comm Rate issues a commission based on a percentage of the value of each session sold. Session Flat Comm issues a flat rate commission per session

- Mem Comm Rate issues a commission based on a percentage of the value of the membership contract sold. Mem Flat Comm issues a flat rate commission per membership contract

- First Invoice Only only pays the salesperson for the first bill in the sale, so that they don't continue to receive a commission if the package/contract auto-renews or extends past the initial billing period (eg. "How Many Times?" is set higher than one on the contract)

4. To change an existing salesperson, use the Pencil icon to edit their name or commission rates.  Use the Disk icon to save your changes when done.  To delete the salesperson, click the Red X.
