This guide will demonstrate how to add products to the POS shopping cart and complete the transaction.
Adding Products to the Shopping Cart using a Barcode Scanner or SKU Number
Click on Search Products.
- Leave your cursor blinking in the box and scan the barcode on your item.
OR - Type in the SKU number for the product and hit enter.
The item will be added to the shopping cart.
Adding Products to the Shopping Cart by Clicking on Them
Click on the item(s) you need to add to the cart.
Shopping Cart
Your products are now in the shopping cart.
Click Pay.
Associate the Sale with a Client
Click Client Search.
****A client does not need to be added to complete the sale. They only need to be added if you want to use the credit card they have on file or if they have money on their account.
Type in your client's name and choose it from the drop-down.
The sale will now be associated with the client. If they have a credit card on file it can be used to complete this sale.
Accepting Payment
Select your Payment Type:
- Debit/Credit
- Cash
- Check
- Gift Card
- Money on Account: Use available monies from a client's account.
- Pay Later: Allows you to add these items to an invoice
***Pay Later & Money on Account can only be used when a client has been added to the sale. - Split Tender: Allows you to enter multiple payment types
- To leave a memo or note on this transaction please type in the NOTE box and click Save
- Click ACCEPT SALE to complete your sale
