This guide will show you how to download/install the SigWeb Browser API for Topaz Signature Pad so that it can work across modern web browsers including Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer 11 under Windows.
SigWeb Browser SDK
Head to the following URL: http://www.topazsystems.com/sigweb.html
Download SigWeb Browser SDK
Download SigWeb based on your pad model (listed on the back of your Topaz signature pad). Please select the right option when it comes to your model:
- If your Topaz signature pad model ends in “-HSB-R”, “-BHSB-R”, or “B-R”, download SigWeb from the following link: www.topazsystems.com/software/sigweb.exe.
- If your Topaz signature pad model ends in “-BSB-R” or “-BBSB-R”, download SigWeb BSB from the following link: www.topazsystems.com/software/sigwebbsb.exe.
Before installing, be sure to close all open browsers (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc).
If you are using our recommended hardware (found here) please use the highlighted button to start your download as it should match one of the listed models. For our example, we will be using model HSB (found on the underside of the signature pad)
Click Save File
After saving and downloading the file, you must open the downloaded file. Access your browsers Downloads folder, then click on the 'sigweb.exe'
The example above is from Mozilla Firefox.
Topaz SigWeb Browser SDK Installation
Determine Tablet Model Group
Select the Tablet Model Group. This information is located on the underside (back) of your signature pad.
Note: The signature pad used for this User Guide is Model T-S460-HSB, which would make it a part of the T-S group.
Choose the Tablet

Select the Connection Type
Select the type of connection used to connect the signature pad to your PC.
Note: The signature pad used for this User Guide is Model T-S460-HSB, which would make it the HSB (USB type) connection.
Read through the License Agreement and click Agree
Installation and SigWeb Set Up Wizard
At this time your PC may install some files and then display the screen above.
Select Installation Folder
It is recommended you install the application to the default folder, but if you would like to change it you may Browse for another folder or drive.
Click Next to start the installation
Click Close to exit
Click the Finish button to exit this installation
