Why can my clients not book into anything on Self-Service? Some or all of my available sessions say 'Call for info' or 'Purchase' next to them instead of 'Book Now'.

 

There are a few possibilities that this is occurring and almost all have to do with a minor setting or requirement that has been turned on/off:

#1 In Administration ---> Self-Service (Under Account Setup); You may have the option "Allow my users to book their own sessions" un-checked.

#2 In Administration ---> Self-Service (Under Account Setup) ---> Configure default settings; You may have the option 'List only, do not book' enabled under Default Availability for Self-Booking. You would want to select 'Allow Booking'

#3 In Administration ---> Self-Service (Under Account Setup) ---> Configure default settings; You may have the option 'Client must have an active, paid-to-date membership' turned on. If a client is using self-service and does not meet that requirement that will impede them from using Self-Service. If not everyone at your facility has to have a membership to use Self-Service you will not want to enable this option

#4 In Administration ---> Self-Service (Under Account Setup) ---> Configure default settings; You may have the option 'The package used to book must be paid-to-date' turned on. If a client is using Self-Service and does not meet that requirement that will impede them from using Self-Service. If you allow clients to have balances on their package purchases, you will not want this option turned on.

#5 In Administration ---> Reservation Types (Under Account Setup); Within the Reservation Types section, you can also configure booking settings on a case-by-case basis (separately from our 'Configure default settings' on Self-Service) by clicking the small 'wrench' icon. It is possible that the settings outlined in #2-#4 are turned on here in this section as well. And lastly, there is one setting in this section 'Allowed Package Types' that only exists here and could also be halting Self-Service bookings. This setting specifies which type of packages can be used to book into any specific reservation. If a client does not have the package type associated with the reservation it may ask them to 'Call for info' or 'Purchase' instead of allowing them to book.
